Quarto! is one of the world's most awarded abstract board games, created by Swiss mathematician Blaise Muller in 1991.
Quarto! is played by two people with 16 plastic pieces on a 16-square (4x4) square board. Each piece is characterized by four dichotomous characteristics:
high-low;
white-black;
round-square;
hollow-full.
So that all the pieces are distinct from each other and each of the four characteristics is present on every piece.
The objective is to align four pieces with one element in common.
Contents: 1 game board, 16 wooden pieces, 1 set of rule in 7 different languages: English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese.
The winner is the player who, by positioning a piece, creates a line of 4 pieces having at least 1 characteristic in common.
