Torpeauto Castrol GTX Flames

Hungary 1980, brand Lemezaru Gyar, material tin and plastic, cm 9x6x5

Torpeauto is a tin toy car made in a no longer active hungarian tin toy factory. The factory was founded in the early 50’s and was closed in the late 90’s.

Company name: Lemezarugyar Budapest, Elzett Muvek.

This version with the Castrol GTX writing and the flame design is later than the original, indicatively from the 80s, because the wheels and the hat are made of plastic, red in colour.

Operation: the car starts by pressing on the driver's head and starts by releasing it.
