WORKING.
The Poljot 3133 caliber was born in 1976 as a clone of the Venus 188. Venus closed its doors in 1966 and sold its instrumentation to Valjoux, which continued the 188 project in the Valjoux 7730, 7733 and 7734 chronographs. When Valjoux moved on to the 7750, which is still in production today, Poljot purchased the instrumentation used to produce the 7734 and used it to integrate some elements of the Valjoux 7734 into the 3133. Poljot continued to produce the 3133 until 2004, when the MakTime company purchased the assembly line and moved production to the south-east of Moscow. The MakTime adventure, however, did not go well: poor profits and dated machinery meant that production of the 3133 ceased definitively in 2011.
