The subject is a film poster of the famous fictional character "Fantomas" by Achille Mauzan for the iconic French film studio Gaumont.
Based on a novel it was conceived in five episodes and it’s a great cult for all collectors of Noir and Crime movies. The poster is one of the earliest design by Achille Mauzan; a superb image rendering the darkest atmosphere of this extraordinary crime movie.
